Ricky Klein began her entrepreneurial journey when she opened The Art Academy in 2012. Ricky loved to teach art and set up an art school which has taught 1000+ students, of all ages. This led to Ricky opening Clay Cafe Ceramix, which alongside the Clay Cafe now hosts her Art Academy classes.
Since 2004 Ricky has been teaching in various schools, at GCSE and at A-Level, both Fine Art and Photography.
A common thread amongst many students of the Arts is that they are often blesssed with natural creative talents, which means that a significant number of successsful students each year will go on to use their talents and skills to set up enterprises of their own, sometimes after apprenticing but often, given the nature of the skills required, straight out of education.
In this regard, it is typically the case that main stream schools are focused on giving their students every chance of acheiving the best possible results in their chosen GCSE’s and A levels, but little, if any time or effort is expended teaching students how to survive in the business world. Furthermore, students in 6th form, whilst mature and focused, do not typically have the ability to focus on life after their studies are over, which is understandable and commendable.
This course is therefore specifically created and designed for the 6th form graduate, who wishes top take their skills and knowledge to the next level; starting or being part of a business adventure in the real world. On the Course Highlights page you will see just how many vital, but often overlooked or misunderstood facets are in fact the building blocks for a successful budding entrepreneur, including you!
"Ricky Klein teaches using a personalised approach for each student whilst drawing on her vast knowledge and skills as a businesswoman."

Whilst working with young people for over 30 years I have experienced time and time again that resilience, motivation, determination, communication skills, self-belief and drive are crucial qualities for growth and success irrespective of academic ability. This course developed by Mrs Ricky Klein focuses on developing and refining these very skills. Overcoming failure, interacting effectively and harmoniously with others, money management, and developing self-confidence are key areas addressed in this course. I have no doubt that Ricky will be highly successful delivering a curriculum which provides practical skills and tried and tested processes to give students a head start in the workplace and valuable skills for life. I highly recommend that students who wish to develop a strong skill set attend this course.
